Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced School Bus Driver to join our team at Stagecoach Gillmoss Bus Depot. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, while providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our passengers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board, including monitoring their behavior and providing assistance as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and other stakeholders, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bus, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge as a School Bus Driver.

Requirements

  • Professional and customer service-focused individual with a strong commitment to safety and excellence.
  • Valid CPC qualification and full UK driving license with no more than three points.
  • Experience in driving a school bus or similar vehicle, with a strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to work during term time, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
