As a Legal Counsel, you will have an interest in a varied commercial legal workload, with strong drafting and negotiating skills, and the ability to apply them independently to drive the business forward and create real value.

Key Responsibilities:

* Working with our business teams to draft, negotiate and execute commercial agreements, whilst proactively maintaining and improving the processes that underpin them.

* Providing day-to-day legal perspective and guidance, as well as risk assessment and mitigation

* Advising our business teams on compliance with data protection and e-privacy laws

* Assisting with acquisitions and corporate integration projects

* Helping to establish and manage a framework of policies and guidance to manage legal and commercial issues within our business

Requirements:

* Qualified to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales (or another common law jurisdiction)

* Proven technical ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements to tight timescales

* Experience of advising on IT, data protection/e-privacy laws as well as commercial and corporate law
