About the Job

The HR Advisor is responsible for the end-to-end HR life cycle activities, including recruitment and retention, employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, talent management, payroll and compensation, and benefits. The role involves establishing strong relationships with managers and employees to deliver a professional, value-adding HR service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the annual HR cycle, including performance management and compensation and benefits.
  • Provide offshore payroll input to the payroll team.
  • Administer employee benefit schemes in conjunction with the Company's benefit brokers.
  • Participate in the development of HR processes and policies.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues.
  • Manage the Asset's permanent offshore recruitment and selection process.
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies for the placement of temporary offshore personnel.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files within the HRIS and other business systems.
  • Attend bi-weekly offshore management/HR meetings.
  • Support with manpower budgeting and forecasting requests.
  • Coordinate monthly headcount and statistics.
  • Support the HR Co-ordinator with offshore training and participate in offshore training audits.
  • Provide HR assistance to the Emergency response organisation.
  • Conduct ad-hoc project work as agreed with Corporate HR.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable operational offshore HR advisory experience.
  • Degree in Human Resources discipline and/or CIPD qualified to Level 5 preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, complex case management, and offshore training requirements.
  • Knowledge and application of HR Systems and Metrics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to evaluate problems from differing viewpoints and recognize potential causes.
  • Organisation and time management skills, particularly when dealing with conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive approach to HR as a value-add function.
