Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. As an English teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds and nurturing a passion for literature and language.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and high-quality English lessons to students.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies that cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and active learning.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and align curriculum materials.
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest educational trends and best practices.
  • Maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates on students' academic performance and addressing any concerns.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience teaching English at the primary or secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment.
  • Passion for education and a genuine interest in helping each student reach their full potential.
  • Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance.
  • Ability to commit to a full-time position.
