Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' educational, emotional, and psychological needs to inform tailored intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to develop effective strategies and accommodations for students with special educational needs.
  • Offer guidance and support to teachers in implementing evidence-based teaching practices and accommodations.
  • Contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives to enhance student well-being and academic success.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to inform the creation of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Requirements:

  • A recognized postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Educational Psychologist.
  • Experience working as an Educational Psychologist in UK schools, preferably in different educational settings.
  • Good knowledge of the UK educational system.
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills, with experience conducting psychological assessments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and educational staff.
