Key Responsibilities
- Support the Night Shift Supervisor and lead the team in their absence, ensuring seamless continuity of operations.
- Work closely with the Warehouse team to optimize efficiency, safety, and productivity.
- Develop and implement effective training programs for new starters, focusing on Safe Systems of Work and Health and Safety procedures.
- Promote a safe working environment, ensuring all team members adhere to Health and Safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the team to reduce damage levels and improve overall performance.
- Delegate tasks and allocate workload to team members, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Support with driver packs and fleet management, ensuring all vehicles remain roadworthy and compliant with transport legislation.
- Assist with shunting operations on the yard, ensuring site speed and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
