We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Meter Assurance Engineer to join our team at Siemens plc. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our metering systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough technical assurance audits on metering systems to verify compliance with governing documents and industry regulations.
  • Analyze complex electrical schematics and single line diagrams to ensure accurate metering equipment ratings and error detection.
  • Verify accurate recording of metering data through commissioning test results and determine aggregation rules for metered volumes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of metering systems and accurate data provision methods.
Requirements:
  • Competent in interpreting Single Line Diagrams and electrical schematics, with a proven level of competence to HNC or degree level.
  • Understanding of power systems and basic electrical concepts.
  • Flexible to perform site work as needed and capable of meeting deadlines set under industry regulations.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work accurately.
  • Desirable: detailed knowledge of metering principles and experience in the electricity metering industry.
