The Oval Partnership is seeking a skilled Category Manager to lead the Baby Products category. Reporting to the Head of Category, this role will involve working closely with the NPD and Commercial teams to drive category growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage key accounts with regular client meetings to drive category growth.
- Build and sustain relationships with key retail contacts across multiple channels.
- Work closely with Sales and Product Development teams to provide regular insights and trend updates.
- Use customer research tools to evaluate commercial and development ideas with consumers.
- Regular visits to stores to assess customers' fixtures and ranging, feeding back recommendations on price, promotion, and positioning.
Requirements:
- Previous Category Management experience, ideally within Private Label FMCG (Food).
- Previous customer-facing experience and a history of relationship building.
- A natural passion for food and product trends, inquisitive about customer behavior, and strong presentation skills.
- Previous experience of using Kantar/Nielsen and EPOS data.
- Experience of using multiple data points to build insightful and compelling stories to rationalize key business decisions.
