About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our team at HC-One. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene in our kitchens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious, healthy meals to our residents.
  • Maintain food supplies and fridge/freezer temperatures.
  • Show new starters how to use kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.

Requirements:

  • Some kitchen experience.
  • NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation or willingness to study for one.
  • Great record-keeping and organisational skills.
  • Ability to follow recipes.
  • Considerate and kind when communicating with residents and colleagues.
