We are currently looking for a relief Cook to provide cover from 0930-1400 at our Wilshaw House service in Ashton-under-Lyne.
The service provides day care for up to 28 service users a day who have a diagnosis of dementia/memory impairment.
The role of a relief cook would be to prepare and cook meals in line with an agreed menu plan for the day service and a varied menu in consultation with service users.
Responsibilities include kitchen area management, including shopping, stock control and rotation, as well as maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
Applicants should have an understanding and experience of working with service users with mental health needs.
This is a part-time, flexible relief based position with access to our free app for picking up shifts.
Candidates must be located in and eligible to work within the UK.
