We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building Construction Manager to join our team at Nicholas Associates. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the construction process, including site management and logistics
  • Coordinating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Managing and monitoring costs, including identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role with a civil engineering, groundworks, earthworks, ground stabilisation contractor
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale construction projects on time and within budget
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and direct teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients and contractors
  • Professional certification or degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
