About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join our successful creative PE Department at an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary school in London.

As a Physical Education Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching PE classes to students at Key Stage 3 and 4. You will need to have a strong background in PE and the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.

The ideal candidate will have a QTS or equivalent qualification, a PGCE, and a music-related degree. Up-to-date safeguarding training is also essential.

As a long-term contract, this position offers stability and opportunities for professional growth. You will work with a supportive team and have access to regular CPD sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach PE classes to students at Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and development
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers to achieve departmental goals

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • PGCE
  • Music-related degree
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
  • Two professional child-related references
