Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team at Team BMS. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects safely and on time, while achieving the best possible financial results for the business.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of project procurement, including cost management and risk assessment.
  • Ensure compliance with company health and safety and CDM requirements.
  • Coordinate with estimating and sales teams to deliver projects within budget and on time.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage and support project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Oversee the management of sub-contractors and ensure they are not over-committed elsewhere.
  • Assist with the coordination of resources and ensure effective project planning.
  • Carry out annual appraisals and identify training requirements and personal development needs.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including o and m manuals.
Requirements
  • Strong commercial awareness and technical knowledge.
  • Previous experience in a similar customer-based role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
