Hydrotest Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Hydrotest Engineer to join our team at EnerMech. As a Hydrotest Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and developing hydrostatic test packages on site. Your main duties will include reviewing client procedures and specifications, preparing method statements and procedures for execution, defining testing boundaries, and producing work packages using electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review client procedures and specifications to ensure work packages are compliant
  
• Prepare method statements and procedures for the execution of hydrostatic testing
  
• Define testing boundaries and limits
  
• Produce work packages using electronic systems and interface with client systems
  
• Finalize and sign-off work packages
  
• Manage modifications and changes to work packages
  
• Distribute test packages to inspectors and line checkers for site confirmation and verification
  
• Evaluate client management systems and protocols for effective interface and delivery of hydrotesting services
  
• Ensure familiarity with relevant QA/QC procedures available via client electronic systems
  

Requirements:

• 
  
• CITB HS&E Certificate or CCNSG Passport
  
• Experience in hydrostatic testing preparation and execution
  
• Experience in electronic work package development
  
• Understanding of process systems and reading P&ID drawings
  
• Experience in piping systems on major construction projects from fabrication to final acceptance
  
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other quality standards
  
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards
  
• Ability to create and implement work methods and procedures related to hydrostatic testing
  
• Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office
  
• Knowledge of welding processes and operations
