Mechanic Master

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanic Master to join our team at Strabag SRL. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our construction equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily repair and maintenance plans for construction equipment and machinery
• Source and procure spare parts and materials, taking into account existing contracts and tenders
• Coordinate and manage the distribution of repair tasks among team members
• Ensure the quality of repairs and maintenance, and maintain a high level of equipment availability
• Manage and maintain a list of warranties and organize repairs under warranty
• Monitor and report on repair progress, ensuring timely completion
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment
• Source and procure spare parts and materials
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards

Requirements

• High school or university degree in a technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the field
• Experience in construction equipment and machinery repair is an advantage
• Proficient in PC operation
• Strong knowledge of mechanics and equipment maintenance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to diagnose and solve complex technical problems
• Leadership and team management skills
• Flexibility and willingness to travel
• Knowledge of a foreign language (German or English) is an advantage
• Category B driving license
