Job Title: HGV Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV driver to join our Inventory Operations & Supply team at Thames Water. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy goods vehicles, managing inventory, and ensuring the efficient delivery of materials and equipment across our distribution network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and operate heavy goods vehicles, adhering to all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of stock movements.
  • Collaborate with the Inventory Operations & Supply team to optimize logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid UK Class 1 or 2 driving license, with no more than 6 penalty points and no DR or IN convictions.
  • Have a full driver CPC and a valid Driver Tachograph card.
  • Possess knowledge of driving and operating HIAB and MHE equipment.
  • Have demonstrable knowledge of Transport law and Road Traffic Act.
  • Be able to work on a shift pattern, including evenings and weekends.
