Software Design Engineer for Advanced Computing Solutions

As a Software Design Engineer for Advanced Computing Solutions, you will work on developing cutting-edge compute subsystem products and System-on-Chip (SoC) designs for various market segments using the latest IP products from Arm and selected third-party vendors.

You will collaborate closely with Engineering Directors and Technical Leads to establish common requirements for design-related flow development, ensuring seamless integration and automation of best practices.

A key aspect of this role is developing internal engineering flows for system design activities, including linting, CDC/RCDFloorPlanIntegration, SDC, and machine-readable specifications for automation of best practices.

You will also collect and analyze design metrics, working with tools from multiple Electronic Design Automation (EDA) vendors.

This position requires a comprehensive understanding of EDA flow, scripting languages (Python, Perl, PHP), version control (SVN, Git, Gerrit), machine-readable specifications, continuous integration, and delivery.

Excellent communication skills and team management experience are essential for success in this role.

Nice to have skills include High-Level Synthesis (HLS), IP protection and export restrictions, functional safety standards (ISO 26262), global IP and SoC development projects.
