Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant Level 3 Plus Special Needs Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Springwood Primary School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting primary age children with complex needs to achieve their potential.

Our school is committed to providing a specialist, high-quality education for pupils with SEND aged 5-11. We strive to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment, and we are looking for someone who shares our vision.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with young people of school age who may present with challenging behaviour and complex needs, preferably within an educational setting. They will be able to demonstrate how they meet the following essential criteria:

  • Can you work as part of a team to provide an appropriate learning environment for our pupils?
  • Do you want to learn new skills and participate in your own professional development?
  • Are you ready to develop your skills and expertise to lead groups of pupils?
  • Do you have the drive to develop your skills and expertise in a nominated area of specialist communication?
