Year 7 SEN Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a skilled SEN Support Assistant to join their team in a Year 7 classroom. As a key member of the school community, you will be responsible for providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans for SEN students.
- Provide one-on-one support and small group instruction to help students access the curriculum.
- Use a range of strategies and resources to promote student engagement and motivation.
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a cohesive support system.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications or experience in SEN support or education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude.
- Valid DBS check and commitment to safeguarding.
