Disrepair Surveyor

Service Care Solutions is seeking an experienced Disrepair Surveyor to work with our client in a dynamic environment.
The role involves managing disrepair claims from start to finish, conducting pre-work surveys, and creating job specifications using standardized codes. You'll ensure that all repairs meet housing and safety regulations, including the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Review expert reports and disrepair claims to identify areas of concern.
- Conduct thorough pre-work surveys to accurately diagnose repairs and identify potential issues.
- Ensure timely completion of works within budget, meeting client expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Support asbestos identification and CDM inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Degree in a building discipline, such as architecture, engineering, or construction management.
- RICS or CIOB Chartered Membership, demonstrating expertise and professionalism.
- Extensive experience in condensation, damp, and mould inspections, with a strong understanding of housing regulations and HHSRS.
