We are seeking a skilled and experienced Delivery Driver to join our logistics team in Tottenham, United Kingdom. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to customers across various locations in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Drive and deliver goods to customers using a company-provided vehicle.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Follow delivery routes and time schedules accurately to ensure optimal delivery times.
- Maintain delivery vehicle in good working condition, adhering to regular maintenance schedules.
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues that may arise during the delivery process.
- Complete delivery records and paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Holding a valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher) is essential for this role.
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is required.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple deliveries and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and customer service abilities are crucial for building strong relationships with customers.
- The ability to handle and lift heavy items is also essential for this role.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, are required to accommodate the needs of customers.
