Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our team at Spire Healthcare Ltd. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and upkeep of our operating theatres, ensuring a smooth and efficient surgical experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare operating theatres for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
  • Assist in the cleaning and upkeep of theatres, maintaining a safe and sterile environment
  • Support anaesthetic duties, including the preparation and administration of anaesthetics
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Contribute to the development of our perioperative team, sharing knowledge and best practices

Requirements

  • Qualified ODP/Nurse with a scrub module
  • NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions
  • At least 1 year scrub experience, ideally in a surgical or theatre setting
  • Recovery experience is desirable
