Job Title: Building Control Specialist
About the Role:
Carrington West is seeking a highly organized and experienced Building Control Specialist to join our team in London. As a Building Control Specialist, you will be responsible for advising the public on the requirements of Building Regulations and other related legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process complex applications under Building Regulations, liaise with and offer guidance to applicants, and draft determinations.
- Carry out inspections to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, engaging specialist colleagues when required.
- Provide specialist-planning advice to clients and ensure that all projects meet the necessary building regulations.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in building control (Fire and structures).
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Building Regulations in respect of all projects up to and including those which are large complex.
- Good customer relations and communication skills.
