Cobalt Recruitment is delighted to be working with a residential property management business who are seeking a Service Charge Accountant to join their team in London.

This is a great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant or Accounts Payable to step into a Service Charge opportunity and work their way up within a successful property management company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with property managers, clients, and leaseholders regarding accounting queries
  • Attend on-site or client meetings, including budget or accounts presentations
  • Assist with annual accounts preparation for audit, including collation of supporting documentation
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations
  • Support Property Managers in service charge budget preparation
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Experience in service charge accounting
  • Background in real estate
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team player
