Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator to join our team at CV-Library in Barrow. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity that requires a strong understanding of facilities management principles and practices.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree in quantity surveying (preferably at degree level) and proficient IT skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, which is based on industry standards and takes into account the level of experience required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit proposals, including solution and option appraisal of new FM Service delivery methods to identify valid and viable commercial options.
  • Implement 'best practice' from consultation and liaison with external bodies and other divisions.
  • Standardize practices across the division to establish meaningful commercial and operational data.
  • Obtain specialist subcontractor costs.
  • Loading asset information into labor forecasts.
  • Update pipeline reporting system and generate management reports.
  • Establish benchmarks for performance.
  • Measure performance against contracted requirements.
  • Interact with clients as needed, providing reports and proactive data.
