Companionship Care Specialist

At City and County Healthcare Group Ltd, we are seeking a Care Assistant to join our team in Bury St Edmunds. As a key member of our community care team, you will provide companionship and support to clients who require assistance with daily living tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist clients with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
- Support clients to engage in activities and outings that promote social interaction and community participation
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate records and report any changes or concerns to the care team
Requirements:
- Previous healthcare experience (preferably in a care setting)
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle (for travel between clients' homes)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect clients' autonomy
