About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Maintenance Technician to join our East Field Service Engineers team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, servicing, and modifying a range of material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out services, maintenance, and overhauls on material handling products.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults on a range of equipment.
  • Servicing includes gas, diesel, and electric powered forklift trucks.
  • Perform thorough examinations and preventative maintenance.
  • Conduct battery maintenance checks.
  • Respond to breakdowns and minimize customer downtime.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Liaise with our parts team to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license.
  • City and Guilds in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Diagnostic computer skills.
  • Qualified in a related field or equivalent years of experience.
  • Able to work unsupervised as required.
