About the Role

This is a critical role in our organization, essential to our future success and the lives we touch. As a Donor Recognition Assistant, you will be responsible for attending, organizing, and managing Donor Recognition Ceremonies within the region. You will also liaise with donors to recognize their milestone donation achievements and work with the Strategic Marketing function to ensure adequate milestone awards are available. Additionally, you will manage and respond to donor complaints, compliments, and suggestions, and ensure maximum publicity is gained from Recognition presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend, organize, and manage Donor Recognition Ceremonies within the region.
  • Ensure blood and platelet donors at specific milestone donations are recognized at a Donor Recognition ceremony, in line with their preference.
  • Order stock from, and liaise with, the Strategic Marketing function to ensure adequate milestone awards are available for regional needs.
  • Manage and respond to donor complaints, compliments, and suggestions.
  • Ensure maximum publicity is gained from Recognition presentations, including the collation of media coverage and donor satisfaction.
