About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Skilled Careers. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a pivotal role in the financial management and success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates to ensure accurate project budgets.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and analyze tenders and contracts to secure the best deals for our clients.
  • Manage project budgets and advise on cost management to ensure projects are delivered within budget and time constraints.
  • Conduct risk and value management assessments to identify potential issues and opportunities.
  • Oversee financial progress and provide accurate reports to stakeholders.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • A day release or undertaking a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
