HSEQ Director

We are looking for an exceptional HSEQ Director to lead our health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) initiatives at Navartis. As HSEQ Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSEQ and experience working in the rail sector. You will be responsible for providing guidance to the Leadership team on all aspects of HSEQ and ensuring the company has appropriate targets to enable continual improvement.

Job Summary:

As HSEQ Director, you will be responsible for leading our HSEQ initiatives and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HSEQ strategies and policies that align with company values.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
• Provide guidance to the Leadership team on all aspects of HSEQ.
• Develop and maintain HSEQ systems and processes.
• Mentor and coach colleagues to take responsibility for their own HSEQ roles.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications.
• Experience in carrying out a similar role within the Rail Sector.
• Experience of managing H&S at worksites, including manufacturing assembly facilities and depots.
• Experience of appropriate industry body audits for the Rail industry and processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
