Automotive Mechanic

About the Role:
As an Automotive Mechanic at Group 1 Automotive, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle maintenance and repair. You will utilize your technical knowledge to test, diagnose, and resolve faults, working on electrical and mechanical systems. Your role will also involve inspecting components for wear and tear, repairing and replacing parts, and checking vehicle subsystems. Additionally, you will support other technicians in the workshop and work to the highest quality standards and efficiency targets.
About You:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic who is proficient in the use of modern diagnostic equipment and has a strong understanding of vehicle systems. You will be a great team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A NVQ level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent is required, as well as a full UK driving license. A current valid MOT License is an advantage but not essential.
