Job Title: Graduate Failure Analysis Engineer

As a Graduate Failure Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for investigating and analysing product failures to identify the root causes and develop appropriate solutions. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to analyse failed components and develop testing methodologies to ensure product reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the evaluation of electrical and mechanical characteristics of systems and/or integrated circuits, components, sub-components and systems to determine the cause of failure.
  • Assist with analysing failure reports and recommend corrective action.
  • Develop methods, processes, procedures and equipment that will improve the failure analysis process and/or reduce failures.
  • Participate in product returns and conduct product failure analysis.
  • Meet and exceed internal and external Service Level Agreements.
  • Maintain daily productivity/workflow reports.
  • Maintain, review and update process documentation on a regular basis.
  • Participate in reviewing current processes on a regular basis and implement new processes as required.
  • Ability to read blueprints, specifications and engineering changes.
  • Ability to interact with employees at all levels.
Requirements:
  • A university degree in a technical subject (Physics and/or Electronics preferred).
  • A relevant placement year is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of electrical testing would be beneficial.
