Land Safety Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Safety Consultant to join our team at Searchability NS&D. As a Defence Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping our clients manage their systems safety within the land domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safety management projects, providing technical analysis of designs and processes to develop safety strategies.
  • Manage safety artefacts, including safety management plans, hazard logs, and safety case reports at platform or system level.
  • Develop and deliver safety, technical evaluation, and certification artefacts.

Requirements

  • Strong background in the Defence market, with experience providing technical analysis and direction in safety management projects.
  • Understanding and application of safety standards, including Defence Standard.
  • Experience generating Safety Assessment Reports, developing proposals, and providing technical assurance.
  • Knowledge and awareness of other Defence safety disciplines, such as Ordnance, Munitions, and Explosives.
  • Experience conducting/supporting safety-related assessments, including HAZOP, FMECA, ZHA, FTA, and ETA.
  • Working knowledge of safety regulations, including the Defence Safety Authority suite.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary range of £45,000 to £80,000.
  • A hybrid role, with 2 days a week on-site.
  • Base locations in Bristol, London, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, or Aldershot.
  • SC clearance required.
