The RSK Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Oxfordshire area, UK.
As a Graduate QS, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. You will work closely with our experienced QS team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Main Responsibilities- Contract Management: Maintain contract documentation, advise on tender and post-contract matters, and prepare and issue contractual letters and emails to clients and/or sub-contractors.
- Site Measurement: Conduct site measurements and prepare and submit Early Warnings, variations, and compensation events.
- Financial Management: Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts, and agree and certify sub-contractor's interim valuations and final accounts.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit monthly cost and project reporting, including CTC, and liaise with Site Management regarding issuing and updating programmes.
- Qualifications: Current CSCS card, BSC Hons in Quantity Surveying and/or HNC/HND in a construction-related course desirable but not essential.
- Experience: QS experience in the construction industry.
- Skills: Ability to use own initiative, competent in using Microsoft Word/Excel, thrive at problem-solving, and achieve strict deadlines.
- Personal Qualities: Full clean UK driving license.
- Competitive Salary: Dependent on experience.
