Technical Test Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Test Manager to lead our TSS (TEST Support Section) team in South Wales.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of our performance test facility, ensuring safe and efficient operation within procedural and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct line management of staff, including safety and effective work allocation.
- Comprehensive understanding and correct application of relevant UK, EU and global test standards.
- Operation, calibration, and maintenance of Test equipment and TSS facility assets.
- Management and output response of the Test Request system.
- Collation, Assessment and Validation of test results.
- Compilation of test results into useful technical data in the appropriate format.
- Liaison with 3rd party test and research organisations.
- Development of a programme of innovative technical research relating to core ventilation products.
Requirements:
- Degree level and practical expertise in Fluids, air movement and measurement, Acoustics, Laboratory Instrumentation and control systems, Data processing and analysis.
- Working knowledge of electrical power systems, thermofields, and mechanical design.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
