About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Employment Lawyer to join our team at Sellick Partnership Limited - Public Sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled lawyer to provide expert advice and representation to our clients in all areas of employment law.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive professional legal advice, managing a portfolio of cases, and providing support and guidance to HR departments on employment-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a legal advisor to client organisations, providing expert guidance on employment law
  • Support and advise HR departments on employment-related matters, including TUPE, Redundancy, Unfair Dismissal, Discrimination, and Maternity
  • Prepare Employment Tribunal cases and act as an advocate where required
  • Attend courts and tribunals, undertaking advocacy and representing clients in negotiations and discussions with third parties
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous advocacy experience and exceptional relationship-building, networking, and influencing skills
  • 6 years+ PQE as a qualified Solicitor, barrister, or FCILEx
