Key Responsibilities- Lead Generation: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to generate new business leads and opportunities.
- Bid and Proposal Management: Write and manage bids and proposals to secure new orders and contracts.
- Customer Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for pre-sale customers, working closely with internal departments to ensure seamless communication and delivery.
- Project Planning: Establish and deliver robust project plans to meet customer requirements and hand over to the project management team once an order is secured.
- Market Analysis: Utilize market knowledge to anticipate changes and help the business adapt and capitalize on commercial opportunities.
- Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate favorable commercial terms on orders to drive business growth and profitability.
- Business Acumen: Possess strong business acumen, with experience in project management, commercial management, and proposal writing.
- Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar commercial role at an engineering or manufacturing company.
- Qualifications: Hold an engineering qualification and possess excellent organizational skills.
- Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and stakeholders.
- Travel and Flexibility: Willingness to travel and occasionally work unsociable hours to meet business needs.
