Packaging specialist sought for a dynamic role at Dechra, a global leader in veterinary pharmaceuticals. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe use of machinery and equipment, maintaining high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness, and personal hygiene, and adhering to GMP guidelines and procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Pack products to the highest quality standard, compliant with regulatory requirements and GMP guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Packing batch documents.
  • Attend and participate in in-house training and on-the-job training.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, reporting any deficiencies to the Line Lead, Packing Specialist, and/or Shift Manager.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production targets and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques and contribute to the improvement of processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety Compliance.
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with peers and other departments.
  • Low to medium manufacturing environment experience.
  • Demonstrable ability to work in a batch manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in a Pharma environment is desirable but not required.
  • Understanding of QMS - CAPA's, CC, NCR etc, and proven industry experience from a regulated GMP manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
