About the Role

This position is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced M&E Estimator to join our team in Cambridgeshire. As a remote role, you will have the flexibility to work from home while occasionally visiting our office and sites as needed.

The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling accurate estimates for clients and potential clients on our maintenance services. This includes creating detailed cost pricing and estimation for new contracts, variations, and re-tendered contracts, including asset schedules, to assist in proposal preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare timely and accurate pricing and estimation of new, renewed, and re-tendered M&E PPM contracts, including asset schedules and proposal preparation.
  2. Conduct site surveys independently or with others to ensure estimates accurately reflect customer needs and enable robust proposals/tender submissions.
  3. Evaluate technical and commercial requirements of pre-prepared tender documentation, specifications, and SLAs to balance compliance with commercial risk and competitive value.
  4. Source technically compliant and commercially advantageous prices from specialist suppliers and sub-contractors.
  5. Assist in reviewing and selecting specialist suppliers and sub-contractors.
