We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Health and Safety and Operations Manager to join our team in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, NEBOSH certification (or equivalent), and proven experience in parts procurement (especially internationally).

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering qualification (Degree or Apprenticeship) and a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent in Health & Safety. They will also have proven experience in production and operations management within a manufacturing environment, as well as procurement expertise, particularly in dealing with suppliers from overseas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily production activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in all processes. They will also utilize their engineering skills to optimize production and ensure successful assemblies, and maintain and enhance our health & safety systems, ensuring compliance and reducing risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage daily production activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in all processes.

Requirements:
  1. Mechanical engineering qualification (Degree or Apprenticeship).
  2. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent in Health & Safety.
  3. Proven experience in production and operations management within a manufacturing environment.
  4. Procurement expertise, particularly in dealing with suppliers from overseas.
What We Offer:
  1. Competitive salary of between £40,000 and £50,000 per annum, depending on experience and ability.
  2. 25 days of holiday plus statutory public holidays.
  3. Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
