About the Role

This Support Teacher - SEND position is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and passionate individual to make a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). As a key member of our team, you will work closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and other professionals to provide high-quality support and guidance to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver targeted interventions to support students with SEND.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement inclusive lesson plans and activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and develop strategies to overcome challenges.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of SEND legislation and policies.
  • Experience working with students with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A willingness to continuously develop your knowledge and skills in SEND practices.
