Job Title: Instructor Pilot/CI

OBXtek is seeking experienced Instructor Pilots/CI to support the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) 492 Special Operation Wing (SOW) and operational units. As an Instructor Pilot/CI, you will provide instruction to meet United States Air Force (USAF) proficiency and qualification standards on Air Force administered written examinations and flight evaluations.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver training programs to meet USAF standards
  • Ensure syllabi tasks are complete within specified timeframes
  • Complete Aircrew Graduate Evaluation Program (AGEP) in accordance with Air Force Instructions and training syllabi
  • Use air traffic control services and radio calls in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration Order and International Civil Aviation Organization manuals
  • Support instruction of AFSOC Instrument Refresher Course, Crew Resource Management Course, and Night Vision Devices
  • Support instruction of aircraft radios, datalinks, and cryptographic radio devices
  • Support the Critique Program with suggested changes/mitigation(s)
Qualifications:
  • Valid Secret Clearance
  • Minimum of five years AFSOC aircrew experience
  • Instructor candidates with experience in the proposed MDS and current in military aircraft within the previous two years
