Job Description

The role of Senior Director of Strategic Growth and Development will be key in driving growth into key sectors across Environment and Sustainability at Arcadis UK Environmental Planning Discipline.

  • The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leading environmental and consenting aspects of complex major projects, with a focus on Defence and/or Nuclear sectors.
  • Responsibilities include developing and executing market strategies, setting annual budgets, collaborating with sector leads, and developing a pipeline of opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute Market Strategies: Work closely with Global Arcadis Solution & Sector Leads to develop and deploy market strategies for the UK Environmental Discipline.
  2. Annual Budget Setting: Establish annual budgets for market strategies and identify necessary investments.
  3. Pipeline Development: Develop and grow a pipeline of opportunities aligned with market strategies.
  4. Pursuit Director: Act as Pursuit Director for strategic opportunities.
  5. Project Delivery: Lead project delivery for multi-disciplinary projects with key client accounts and frameworks.
Qualifications and Experience
  • An excellent working knowledge of the UK Planning system and consenting process.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering projects across multiple consenting regimes.
  • Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and grow technical capability.
  • Experience in developing and taking value propositions to market.
