GPW Recruitment is partnering with Ford Halewood Transmissions Ltd to recruit a Measurement Room Specialist for their site in Merseyside. This role is part of the plant Quality Department and involves working in metrology and metallurgical laboratories.


Job Description

You will be responsible for measuring internal and externally purchased components, working with various teams including engineers, management, production, and maintenance personnel. Your primary goal will be to deliver projects and services that support an advanced automotive manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Working in metrology and metallurgical laboratories to measure components.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Maintaining high-quality standards in measurement processes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A completed Mechanical/Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
  • Good knowledge of measurement principles and processes.
  • A background in metrology or metallurgy laboratory measurement is desirable.
