Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Breast Screening Coordinator at Edgware Community Hospital. This exciting opportunity will allow you to play a vital role in the North & Central and East London Breast Screening Service.

About the Role

This position entails facilitating the effective tracking of patient lists, adhering to deadlines for data submission, and actively participating in review meetings to provide insights and present findings. You will have the opportunity to comprehend the intricacies of the 62-day national cancer waiting time targets, the 28-day expedited diagnostic standard, and the guidelines of the NHS Breast Screening Programme for PTL pathways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitating the Effective Tracking of Patient Tracker Lists
  • Adhering to deadlines for data submission
  • Actively participating in review meetings to provide insights and present findings
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good working knowledge of relevant Microsoft office packages (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A good knowledge of the NHS Breast Screening programme
  • A good understanding of general office working procedures
Working Arrangements

This is a full-time permanent position based at Deansbrook House, Edgware Community Hospital. The salary for this role is £28,622-£30,225 per annum inclusive of HCAS.
