Job Role & Responsibilities

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at Twinings, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the electrical, automation, and industrial network systems in our production and warehousing facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of PLC control system architecture and field control devices, as well as excellent working knowledge of manufacturing engineering equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct electrical, controls, and basic mechanical maintenance tasks, ensuring the optimal performance of our production and warehousing facilities.
  • Complete planned and reactive maintenance activities, recording and reporting all relevant data and information.
  • Overhaul and refurbish parts and equipment to ensure efficient operation.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and solve problems, and to implement machine modifications and upgrades.
  • Develop and deliver training materials to upskill the operations team.
  • Troubleshoot PLC fault codes and identify external faults through software.
Requirements
  • Apprentice-trained electrical maintenance engineer with a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Ability to work on a 3-shift rotation pattern.
  • C&G/NVQ3 in electrical engineering and minimum five years' experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Excellent working knowledge of manufacturing engineering equipment, including warehousing, distribution, logistics, process, and production lines.
  • Strong understanding of PLC control system architecture and field control devices.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and ability to use a CMMS system.
