About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Staff Power Group Limited. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and young people with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health issues, ADHD, and Autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children and young people to develop their independence and life skills, including basic cooking, cleaning, and money management.
  • Working in partnership with other care professionals, including healthcare professionals, social workers, and police services.
  • Promoting equality and diversity, and helping to improve the quality of life for individuals.
  • Assisting individuals to maximize their own skills and development.

Requirements:

  • Always be punctual and presentable.
  • Always remain professional.
  • Maintain the utmost confidentiality about adults in our care.
  • Maintain data protection and adhere to GDPR.
  • Report any accident or incident occurring during a period of support immediately to your line manager and care home manager.
  • Adhering to all policies and procedures outlined in Staff Power Group Limited's application procedures.
