Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Haematology/Oncology)

NHS Scotland is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Haematology/Oncology team based in the Schiehallion Unit and Daycare.

About the Role:

  • Work as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) providing care and treatment to patients with haematological and oncological conditions.
  • Diagnose, manage, and prescribe to patients across all age groups as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Collaborate with the MDT to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in the training and development of junior staff members.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g., MSc Advanced Practice).
  • Experience working in a haematology/oncology setting (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
