About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage and Protection Adviser to join our team at Spicerhaart. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating and maintaining your own client relationships and business, maximising in-branch opportunities and thriving within a challenging yet stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and maintain your own client relationships and business, maximising in-branch opportunities and thriving within a challenging yet stimulating environment
  • Follow up on in-branch leads generated by the Estate Agency team and maximise value from each client
  • Generate your own leads and business
  • Work in tandem with the Estate Agency team, Admin team, Training and Development team, Compliance team and Divisional Sales Director to ensure as efficient a process as possible for the client
  • Provide exceptional client care and experience from beginning to end, going above and beyond to provide the highest possible level of customer service

Requirements

  • Current CeMAP qualification or industry equivalent qualification
  • Experience of Mortgage and Protection Advising
  • Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK (in accordance with the Immigration Asylum and Nationality Act 2006)
  • Evidence of right to work in the UK, in the form of passport/birth certificate, proof of address, national insurance number and full UK driving licence

Working Hours

  • Full-time office-based role
  • Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 18:00
  • Alternate Saturdays, 09:00 to 17:00
  • Day off in lieu when working a Saturday

  • On-target earnings of £40,000 to £60,000+ per year

  • Engaging with people from all walks of life, establishing their needs and wants, and communicating effectively through various channels
  • Spinning multiple plates, mastering multitasking, and excelling at managing numerous responsibilities and tasks
  • Maintaining relationships through regular contact with vendors, buyers and developers to capitalise on opportunities and ensure high-level customer service
  • Collaborating with peers within the branch to build relationships and identify opportunities for referrals
  • Taking accountability for KPIs through proactively seeking new opportunities and maintaining existing relationships
  • Strong presence in front of a camera, appealing to and engaging with the audience to maximise reach
