Job Title: General Practitioner with MOD Experience

We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our team at HCRG Workforce Solutions. As a General Practitioner with MOD experience, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of military locations throughout the UK.

Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing primary healthcare services to military personnel and their families. You will be working as part of a team to deliver high-quality healthcare services, and will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a variety of areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake primary healthcare clinics for military personnel and their families
  • Examinations and occupational health fitness for work assessments
  • Inform the local medical authority of any cases that may affect a service person's ability to undertake their duties
  • Complete reports and documentation in accordance with MOD policy
  • Attend individual management reviews or case conferences as required
Requirements:
  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) both on the main register and on the GMC GP Register without Restrictions
  • A copy of the Doctor's Fitness to Practise declaration must be provided to the Contracting Authority prior to any GP undertaking duties under the Contract
  • Current, satisfactory in date annual appraisal in line with the requirements of the GMC's Good Medical Practice (GMP)
  • Previous Ministry of Defence (MOD) experience
  • Ability to provide certification for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Safeguarding Adults up to and including Level 3 training
Desirable Requirements:
  • Previous emergency care/response experience
  • Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and/or Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH) and/or Diploma Occupational Medicine (DipOM)
